I got it right!

Reds bag Barclays awards
Sir Alex Ferguson and Nemanja Vidic have been named Barclays Manager and Player of the Month respectively for January.

The Reds picked up maximum points from five Premier League matches in January without conceding a single goal, and duly moved top of the league with a game in hand on rivals Liverpool and Chelsea.

Sir Alex's men showed an ability to put teams to the sword, beating Chelsea 3-0 and West Brom 5-0, whilst also displaying the grit and determination to grind out 1-0 wins against Wigan, Bolton and Everton.

Vidic, who lost out to Dimitar Berbatov in ManUtd.com's monthly player award, was an integral part of those wins and indeed United's recent record run of clean sheets.

It's the first time Vidic has won the Barclays award. The Serbian produced a string of impressive displays in defence but also contributed at the other end of the pitch, scoring against Chelsea and West Brom.

Sir Alex, however, is no stranger to the accolade. This is his 22nd Manager of the Month trophy. (source: www.manutd.com, 07/02/2009)

Thursday, 29 January 2009 January awards are ours
This month's manager and player of the month should be coming from Manchester United.
We came back from on fourth place and we kept winning every game until now and our players have been brilliant!
I hope Sir Alex deserves to be manager of the month and Ryan Giggs or Dimitar Berbatov should be player of the month (in Premier League).
