Business in sex!

It is called 'suvival sex' (having an exchanged sex for money, gifts etc.)
Others call it 'Transactional sex'.

One day a lady greeted me and asked if 'we' can make business. I asked her, 'which business?' She answered me, "I am a woman, which business do you think I can make?"

Read this -below.

(From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

Transactional sexual relationships are sexual relationships where the giving of gifts or services is an important factor. Transactional sex relationships are distinct from other kinds of prostitution, in that the transactional sex provides only a portion of the income of the person providing the sex. Those offering sex may or may not feel affection for their patrons.

In the western world, transactional sex usually involves a woman living in extreme poverty. If unable to pay her rent one month, she might have sex with her landlord. Any number of other services, legal and illegal, can be paid for with sex acts.

Transactional sexual relationships are particularly common in sub-Saharan Africa, where they often involve relationships between older men and younger women or girls.

In many cases, the woman in a transactional sexual relationship may remain faithful to her boyfriend, while he may have multiple sexual partners. In other cases, the woman may have multiple partners. In both of these cases, transactional sex presents an increased risk of HIV infection. As a result, transactional sex is a factor involved in the spread of AIDS in Africa.

'Nyumba ndogo' hualikwa na 'kubwa'?

* SOURCE: Nipashe, 25 May 2008.
By Anti Flora Wingia (e-mail: fwingia@yahoo.com)

Mume aliporudi hana bati wala kiwanja.

....................................
Msomaji mwingine anasema ifuatavyo:-

Construction Sector Transparency Initiative

(SOURCE: Guardian, 23 May 2008. By Gadiosa Lamtey)
Minister of State in the Prime Minister`s Office (Policy Coordination and Parliamentary Affairs) Philip Marmo said corruption had destroyed the construction sector, leading to violation of rules and ignoring of master plans and other necessary specifications. The minister made the remarks shortly after he had launched the Construction Sector Transparency Initiative (CoST) in Dar es Salaam.

British High Commissioner to Tanzania Philip Parham said, CoST had been designed to help address mismanagement and corruption and enhance adherence to standards in the construction sector. ``CoST requires stakeholders - the business community, the government and civil society organisations - to increase transparency and accountability in public-funded construction projects,`` CoST would also enhance public and stakeholders` access to records and information on construction projects, making it easier for the public to see how their taxes were being spent. The second objective of CoST is mutual accountability -which tried to make contractors and government procurers become accountable in public-funded projects.

My thanks and regards are due to those who took their precious time to go through few posts, and especially those who sent me their comments; from Tony Blair's supporter to students' co-ordinator (on a tour to Equador).

As another year begins, I will always be available here putting down my views or thoughts and also learning from (or listening to) you!

Pneumonia

Pneumonia
(From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)
Pneumonia is an inflammatory illness of the lung.

It is described as lung parenchyma/alveolar inflammation and abnormal alveolar filling with fluid. (The alveoli are microscopic air-filled sacs in the lungs responsible for absorbing oxygen from the atmosphere.)

Pneumonia can result from a variety of causes, including infection with bacteria, viruses, fungi, or parasites, and chemical or physical injury to the lungs.
Its cause may also be described as idiopathic-that is unknown—when infectious causes have been excluded.

-Typical symptoms associated with pneumonia include cough, chest pain, fever, and difficulty in breathing.
-Diagnostic tools include x-rays and examination of the sputum.
-Treatment depends on the cause of pneumonia; bacterial pneumonia is treated with antibiotics.

Pneumonia is a common illness which occurs in all age groups, and is a leading cause of death among the elderly and people who are chronically and terminally ill.

Vaccines to prevent certain types of pneumonia are available.
The prognosis depends on the type of pneumonia, the appropriate treatment, any complications, and the person's underlying health.

CCM secretary general Yusuf Makamba has described the official welcome home accorded to former Infrastructure Development minister Andrew Chenge when he went to his Bariadi West constituency this week as a sign of how the legislator is accepted by his electorate.

Chenge visited his Bariadi West constituency on Wednesday for the first time since he resigned last month following allegations that he had illegally deposited USD 1 billion in a foreign country.

Manufaa ya ziara za Rais Kikwete nje

(SOURCE: Nipashe, 09 May 2008. By Mashaka Mgeta)

Yes, Blair was Great!

This (below) is a comment from a Tony Blair supporter. Even myself agree that Tony was a great leader and a great PM, too!
....................

'Thought you might like to see my take on the Labour Party - Wikipedia 2050.

And all because they got rid of Tony Blair. A great Prime Minister and a good man.

It seems he was a prophet in his own time'.

Lehman on Wenger's philosophy

'It is nice to watch (Arsenal play), but it is not ideal because we are not winning anything. Something is wrong.
The way we tried to do it with just young players playing beautiful football didn't work.
As a player, I have limited time to win things and I want success.

Just look at Sir Alex Ferguson (this season), ...'

-Jens Lehman as was quoted by D/Star of Tuesday, May 06, 2008 page 59.

Happy Birthday, Tony!!!
..........................

Anthony Charles Lynton Blair (born 6 May 1953) is a British politician who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 2 May 1997 to 27 June 2007, Leader of the Labour Party from 1994 to 2007 and Member of Parliament for Sedgefield from 1983 to 2007. On the day he stood down as Prime Minister, he was appointed official Envoy of the Quartet on the Middle East on behalf of the United Nations, the European Union, the United States and Russia, and stepped down as an MP and became Steward of Her Majesty's Three Chiltern Hundreds of Stoke, Desborough and Burnham in the county of Buckingham.

Tony Blair was elected Leader of the Labour Party in July 1994 following the sudden death of his predecessor, John Smith. Under Blair's leadership the party abandoned many policies that it had held for decades. Labour won a landslide victory in the 1997 general election, which ended 18 years of rule by the Conservative Party with the heaviest Conservative defeat since 1832.

Blair is the Labour Party's longest-serving Prime Minister and the only person to have led the Labour Party to three consecutive general election victories.

Gordon Brown, Blair's Chancellor of the Exchequer during his ten years in office, succeeded him as Leader of the Labour Party on 24 June 2007 and as Prime Minister on 27 June 2007.
