Yesterday Manchester United players had an enjoyable night. It wasn't a party to celebrate the 2008/09 Premierships title per se, but the one for the recognition of outstanding individual players throughout the season voted by fans or players themselves. The Awards ceremony was shown live by Manchester United own TV Channel (MUTV) from 19:30 BST.
And the winners are...
Nemanja Vidic - Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year. (voted by fans).
Nemanja Vidic - Players' Player of the Year.
Cristiano Ronaldo - Goal of the Season, v FC Porto. (voted by fans).
James Chester - Denzil Haroun Reserve Player of the Year
Federico Macheda - Jimmy Murphy Academy Player of the Year
