Music from Africa is rarely (if any) heard in radios or tv in UK.
But I am very much interested to know if the piece of instrumental music, or a jingle, heard in the bbc one's tv program -homes under the hammer- is from the song performed by our very own Mlimani Park orchestra (Sikinde). The jingle seems to be taken from the song 'mimi kazi yangu taxi driver' released in the early 1980s -RTD production. The saxaphones and trumpets in the jingle reminds me of the legend King Enock's time at Mlimani Park!
I would be happy to get the truth or info on that potential good news!
