Cristiano ronaldo is a great player as he has proved that over time by winning several trophies and honours since he joined Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon.
But unfortunately, since the end of the season, I think he has been given wrong advice from those close to him (like professional advisors or even family members and friends). His comments are not consistent, always giving contradictory remarks about himself on his future football career with Man United!
It would be wise now to focus or concentrate with his national team duty as the Euro 2008 finals are only five days away! Also, if he is a true professional, should remember that he has got a contract to honour at Manchester United.
On the other hand if he feels he can no longer pursue his career at Old Trafford, thats is well and good. I think the club will bless your wish. There is no reason to block his move.
Manchester United is the greatest football club in the world, and without question it will always move forward with or without Cristiano Ronaldo.
Remember, there are still plenty of talented players around who can wear no.7 jersey and perform wonders. It is time now to give them a chance and I am sure they won't let Man United down. The club is always bigger than any individual(s) at the club!!
