'Title still in our hands!'

(from www.manutd.com)
Michael Carrick insists there’s no cause for alarm following the Reds’ 2-2 draw with Middlesbrough on Sunday.

Certain sections of the press have begun to cast doubt on United’s championship-winning credentials, yet Sir Alex’s men are still three points in front with just five games to play.

The former Spurs midfielder says the Reds tend to respond well to disappointment and is confident the squad will show similar character this time around.

“You have to remember that off days do come along and you’ll get the odd bad result, but if you can bounce back quickly it takes the pressure off and helps you regain momentum.

“You can’t get too upset about poor results, just like you can’t get carried away when you have a good win. Maybe at the end of the season we’ll look back on certain matches and see them as pivotal, but during the season you just have to stay focussed on one game at a time.

“Not so long ago we were trailing Arsenal and now we have a three-point lead. We’re determined to hang onto that.”

Wenger's day 'dream'!!!
The Arsenal manager has written-off his two oppositions this week by claiming that he's going to win a double this season.

He is going to start his 'mission' tonight by beating Liverpool and then Man United on Sunday!

Is he dreaming, or it's a matter of 'mistiming' for April 01?
