My Physics memory put to test!

This is what I still remember (about laws of motion etc.) ....

Newton's Laws of Motion: (Form Two)
Law 1:
'Everybody continues in motion in a straight line unless it is compeeled by an external force'

Law 2:
'The rate of change of momentum is directly proportiona to the force applied and takes place in the direction of force'
F=Ma (M=mass, a=acceleration

Law 3:
'To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction'.
or
'Actions and reactions are equal and opposite'.
(Check in A.F. Abbott)

Newton's Law of Universal Gravitation (Form Five):
'The force of attracion between two bodies (masses) is proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of their distance apart'.
i.e. F = GMm/r/r

This is also called the 'inverse-square law'
(Check Nelkon & Parker)

Next time I will be Challenging my memories on other areas in Phyics or any other subject.
