The Don of Aberdeen
Sir Alex joined the Dons in June 1978, and in season 1979/80 delivered the first of three titles at Pittodrie - Aberdeen's first league success since 1955. In 1982 they won the Scottish Cup, qualifying the Dons to take part in the European Cup Winners' Cup the following season. They beat Bayern Munich and Real Madrid on their way to glory.
