Ronaldo's a record breaker!

Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo is heading to break his own last season's goal tally where he was a joint top scoer with Wayne Rooney, according to my records. The season is almost halfway and it is a matter of how many will he be scoring on top of his last season's 23 and not whether he will do it!

Man Utd: Goals 2006/07*
ROONEY- 23
RONALDO- 23
SAHA- 13
SOLSKJAER- 11
SCHOLES -7
GIGGS -6
CARRICK -6
O'SHEA -5
J S PARK -5
VIDIC -4
K RICHARDSON -3
FLETCHER -3
LARSSON -3
EVRA -2
FERDNAND -1
SYLVESTRE -1
K LEE -1
HEINZE -1
BROWN -1 (scored in a friendly)
SMITH -1
C EAGLES -1

Goals came from a variety of players, except goalkeepers. It is good to get scorers from different sources, rather than depending on specific players!

*Matches involved are:
Premieship
FA Cup
League Cup
UEFA Champions League

Total goals scored 120

However the stats do not include a Man Utd v. Europe IX Friendly on 13/3/2007 where Man Utd won 4-3. Rooney's double, Ronaldo and Wes Brown won the match.
