Vidic's 'brothers' in the theatre of dreams!
Serbians to join United
United is pleased to announce it has reached an agreement with Partizan Belgrade and the players for Zoran Tosic and Adem Ljajic to join the club.
Tosic, 21, will sign with immediate effect and wear the no.14 shirt, while an agreement is in place for 17-year-old striker Ljajic to remain with Partizan for the rest of 2009.
A press conference will be held next week, once the necessary paperwork has been filed with the relevant football authorities.
Sir Alex Ferguson gave his reaction to the signings at his Friday press conference and also confirmed United will not be doing any more transfer business in January.
"Tosic joins us immediately, his work permit is through; Ljajic will join us next year, " revealed the boss. "Tosic is a young wide left player. We like wide players at this club.
"We've been watching him for over a year. Our scout in that area has been telling us about him for quite a while. He's now a regular in the Serbian national team. Hopefully he does well.
"We'll give him time. He's not played since December 10 so he'll need time to adjust and get used to the tempo of our game and also the training.
"That's the end of the transfer business for Manchester United this season. There definitely won't be anything else in January."

Wafanyakazi na muda wa kazi
Muda maalumu uliopangwa kwa wafanyakazi wa serikali huwa ni saa 8 kwa siku za Jumatatu hadi Ijumaa, na kwa jumamosi huwa ni nusu siku.
Mara nyingi uatona wafanyakazi nchini tanzania wanaendelea kuwepo maofisini hata baada ya muda wa kazi kupita hadi saa za usiku. Siku za Jumamosi na Jumapili pia huwa wanaenda maofisini.
Nimebahatika kukaa nje ya bara la Afrika na nimeona jinsi wenzetu wanavyo heshimu muda wa kuingia kazini na wa kutoka kazini. Na pia wanaheshimu sana siku wanazokuwa off, kwasababu ni muda adimu kwa ajili ya mambo yao binafsi na pia kujumuika na familia au mambo yahusuyo familia.
Familia zinahitaji muda na ndio maana serikali za ulaya hutoa likizo kwa wazazi wote (mama na baba) ili walee watoto mama anapojifungua. Muda wa kazi ni wa kazi, muda wa off ni off. Sio vibaya waafrika tukiiga hili kwa manufaa yetu na familia zinazotuhusu. Tuachane ni porojo za 'niko bize!'

Tayari baadhi ya watu wameanza kubashiri nini kitatokea mwaka huu 2009.
Jana usiku (22:00 - 01:00 GMT) mtangazaji wa kipindi (Ian Collins) kupitia kituo cha redio cha talksport alitoa ubashiri wake juu matukio makubwa anayotegemea yatajiri ndani ya mwaka huu mpya. Alitoa matukio matatu makubwa:
1. Rais mpya wa Marekani Obama 'atachemsha'. Mtangazaji huyo alitumia maneno 'Obama will disappoint ...' hasa kuhusu utekelezaji wa ahadi alizotoa ktk kampeni.
Hata mimi nadhani Obama hawezi kukidhi matarajio ya wengi. Nimekuwa na wasiwasi huo baada ya kusikiliza ile hotuba yake ya usiku wa kuamkia tarehe 05/11/2008 ya kutoa shukrani kwa wamarekani kwa kumchagua kuwa rais. Ktk hotuba ile Obama alibadilibadili baadhi ya maneno na lugha tofauti na alivyoahidi wakati wa kampeni zake. Kama ukimsikiliza vizuri ile hotuba utagundua amelegeza uzi ktk mambo mbalimbali aliyoahidi.
2. Hakuna uchaguzi mkuu Uingereza. Waziri mkuu, Gordon Brown, ambae ndie mwenye uwezo wa kutangaza uchaguzi mkuu hawezi kufanya hivyo kwa maana anahofia kushindwa ktk uchaguzi na hivyo anaonelea ni bora amalize kabisa muda wake wa kukaa ofisini hadi mwakani.
3. Gazeti moja kubwa litapotea mitaani/madukani. Akalitaja gazeti la 'the independent' kuwa liko ktk hali mbaya kiuchumi hivyo huenda likapotea mwaka huu. Akaongeza kuwa gazeti hilo limekuwa linapungukiwa wateja wa kuweka matangazo ktk gazeti hivyo kuhatarisha usalama wa mapato yake, maana magazeti au vyombo vya habari hutegemea sana matangazo ya biashara ili kujiendesha!
Haya ndiyo mambo ambayo yamebashiriwa kutokea mwaka huu na huyo mtangazaji. Nina wasiwasi kuwa huyo mtangazaji ana mtazamo wa ki-conservative/republican. The complexity of the UK postcode system has sent ... The complexity of the UK postcode system has sent the Irish Government and its advisors around in circles for 4 years now trying to devise a Post Code for Ireland that fills all the gaps and ticks all the boxes. Nothing has been agreed yet and probably will not for quite some time. However, there are those who say that for sorting letters a PostCode is no longer required as OCR and a good address database will do the job. However, the more significant requirement for a Code nowadays is for navigation and routing (Logistics and Emergency services etc)
The fact that with postal deregulation in Europe including in Ireland commenicing in 2009, mail delivery will be done by courier type opeartions with a larger need for routing than actual sorting also increases the need for a dedicated code. It is for this reason that a navigation Code has now been published in Ireland - referred to as PON Codes;- they express a location geographically to an accuracy of +/- 6 meters and can be determined by anyone for anywhere..... see http://www.irishpostcodes.ie for more details. PON Codes have been tested by Garmin and GPS Ireland intends releasing a full version of the system early in 2009.
The PON Code system can already be used in Northern Ireland - eliminating the problems arising with the Royal Mail system in Fermanagh as mentioned in your article. PON Codes can be customised for any country.
